July 2026 — AI Content Generation
- Added AI content generation powered by Vertex AI (Gemini), running on your own Google Cloud project
- Generate content types with AI — describe a content type in plain language and let AI design its fields (collections, sub-collections, or reusable components)
- Generate documents with AI — create sample records in bulk (up to 25) or a single document from a prompt, written directly to Firestore
- New AI tab in project settings with availability checks and an enable toggle
- Available on the Startup plan and above

Complete rebuild of the Firepanel console from the ground up using Next.js, React, and ShadCN UI. This is a major milestone — the new console replaces the legacy Vue 2 application.
